This is the stream that feeds the falls at Bad Urach. Five feet behind me, the water drops over the lip of the falls. The view from the bottom was captured in Bad Urach Wasserfalls".

wow! awesome Chris! this is really beautiful! It looks like you mastered the shutter key alright! I am glad you didn't frame this one too - it does not need anything adding - the depth of colour of the rocks and moss is excellent! Did I say it was good? lol!

Now this is really something. You've got the gnarly tree roots to the right and the stones to the left and the wonderful waterfall(s) on both sides of the bridge. I think you made a good choice in going to the falls. These are really visually wonderful and amazing. I am wondering how in the world you took up this position to take the shot and control the shutter speed too. Amazing job, Chris.

Hey Chris, sorry about not posting lately. Had an accident and was out of action for a few weeks.
Now lets see, looks like you've gotten a lot better. Your colors are out of this world and composition is terrific. I love those tree roots and the stair steps, it really hits great with the soft moss. It also looks like you've chosen the perfect shuter speed.
Thanks so much for sharing!

Love both of these, but I'm partial to this one for two reasons: 1, I finally got to see it after all the deleted versions you put up...lol.. and 2, This has everything your first upload has, but more and the composition is really delightful. I think that Cindy summed it all up very nicely. Great job, and in my Fave Folder on my hard drive :)

Awesome shot...it has so many great elements. The color is great, the water has a nice 'glassy' quality, and the landscape really adds so much to the shot. To me, the stone bridge and the stone steps are the focus, and the water is a super compliment. I'm also pretty curious how you got into position for this shot!!

What a beautiful falls, I just had this in VB and marked it very highly. I love the little cave like part in the middle of the picture. Stunning scenery, I am off to see it from the bottom now.
