I am glad you shared this with us. It gives us a glimpse of the neighborhood, and it's a great shot of a fine old church. The window shutters are very interesting. Super picture, Gabrielle.

Oh, this is so nice! I love the way the sunlight is lighting up the top of the church and your shadows are not underexposed. I like the church's location too. A really great shot, Gabrielle.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Love this photo Gabi. Like the glimpse of person on scooter in shadows. The light and shadows really make this photo. There's a lot working here. The light and shadows lets you know there is good and evil and the Y in the road gives you choice and the Church makes it clear which path you should take. It also shows no matter which path, there is still hope. I put this in faves by the way.
Sorry, didn't mean to ramble. Very good Gabi.

I'll meet you at the edge of the sunlight, just behind the shadows. The Ghost

Groet, Cornelius

What a lovely village and what a beautiful church. You have caught the sky, the sunlight and the shadow perfectly. It seems obvious that you love where you live and quite rightly so.

Nice looking church and town. Love the lighting on this, how the church is in the sun and the foreground in shadows. Nice work.

I can sit and look at your photo for a long time and think of what it used to be like around there, when it was first built. Thank you very much for sharing.
