This shot will probably not score high with the cows, but it does reflect my mood. Yesterday I received the dire news that a nephew had passed on. He was only 30 and I feel very sorry for his parents... no parent should have to bury their child. There must be something in the weather or so, cause everywhere around me I hear people telling that loved ones have passed on... Hope you enjoy this pis!

My heart goes out to you and the parents. You're right, parents should not have to bury a child. Like Cornelius I shiver just thinking about it. You photo captures the mood perfectly. Cope the best you can Gabi and you have a lot of friends on here that will be my your side. To heck with the Cows.

Oh my, Gabrielle. That is a powerful image! Sometimes when our hearts ache, I think we become more sensitive to God's presence and this image certainly evokes that sense with that huge sun behind the mound and the peaceful radiant color. This is an image of hope. Very beautiful. God bless your nephew and may perpetual light shine upon him.
