Mushrooms can be a bit boring but you've turned them into something interesting here with the composition - the clashing diagonals and verticals and also the similar tones of the leaves and the fungi. One thing, it looks as though you've used flash and I wonder what the light would have been like without it? Good shot, and very autumnal!

What a great find! I look for them,here in Oregon we have plenty of shrooms, but I can never find them. I love this photo.

Just for fun I'll give you this tip: sometimes the flash works out better hen you hold your camera upside down....
