This was taken at the entrance to Lettuce Lake Park, April, 2013. A huge sink hole or cavern has opened up near the entrance to the park and they had to shut part of the road down. I am hearing helicopters buzzing around as I type this; this happened yesterday. I don't see anything major affecting us, but it's a bit disconcerting. Most of the area around here is basically sand thrown on top of limestone caverns that run throughout most of the southern half of the state. Over time, the limestone dissolves and sinkholes form. I will keep you posted. Here is the story

This happens in many places. A sudden hole swallows a car or even something bigger. Hope it was not that what happened. Nice shot.

A beautiful natural 'roundabout', Alex. Good that vehicles can't ride around it. The beauty would distract the attention of the drivers.
Another good one, my friend.

It sounds like 35,000 people will have to find a new route to their destinations Alex. Will you be inconvenienced?
The photo looks like a beautiful runabout?

Beautiful the way the tree shades the blooms. Terrific capture.
