Hi Jan,
That statement holds definitely a lot of truth here, although there are lots of things going on,
I especially love the reflections in the orangely tinted lake,
A peaceful and ultimately soft and calm picture,
Beautifully done,

The color fade is wonderful and you are right about less being more. In the thumbnail I thought there were actually two birds and figuratively there are.
