This place was amazing, whatever pictures i post from here do not do it justice, there was painting like this all round the cloisters, they were amazingly detailed and richly decorated with gold of some description, maybe gold leaf, maybe just gold paint, i dunno...!

Had the intention to comment on your other 'Grand Palace Bangkok' image, but just before I started typing, it disappeared.
This one is beautiful too. Realise however that an image simply can't be that impressive as reality. Must have been wonderful to have seen it with you own eyes Jan.

You gotta admire the art work put into this. I would imagine the whole thing would represent a lengendery tale of sorts. I agree with Cornelius that this must have been amazing to see first hand.

Well how behind am I with comments? Work really gets in the way sometimes ;-) Love this one, I'm not usually a fan of photos of other people's art but you did good with this, it has a 3d feel to it and the colours are lovely and rich. The light in it's lovely too.
