Wonderful colors and so nicely composed. I'd like to walk here. Such a nice glow to the golden grass.

Jan, if this isn't the most unique image I have seen for awhile! What a good eye you have. I really like it. Great desktop. Little bit of Orton here? Keep-pah.

Jan, was watching this image for a couple of minutes at full screen size and enjoyed it very much. Don't know whether you gave this post a 'treatment' or not, can only say that this is really a great image!
Regards, Cornelius.

I like the depth in this and the grasses are beautiful against that cloudy sky with a touch of blue. Great composition and a lovely post!

I agree with the rest. Awesome and unique. Good work with the Orton, (if used.) I still see alot of sharpness mixed with the blur. Thats how I like 'em. Keep shootin'.

That is SO funky! Never seen such green and such dried tan foliage in such ordered relationship. Nature is definitely stranger than anything imagination can generate!

Really simple shot...works really well. The fog is interesting against the greens and yellows...usually foggy scenes lack color.

Interesting one, I've tried something similar myself but never managed to get anything as effective. The contrast between the deep green and gold is what gets this a second look. I think it would make a fantastic backdrop to something else focus rather than being an image in its own right - a splash of red, maybe a ball or even a poppy, would be fantastic. The orton's subtle and doesn't make the clouds look too unnatural either.
