Nave from Worcester Cathedral (with a touch of HDR).

I liked how these medieval builders constructed this wonderful cathedral without the aid of laser sights and diesel powered-cranes, and yet after 900 years, remains standing the test of time.

Edit: For comparison, I found this picture of a Church by Tim Popelier. They must have had better tools when they built this nave in France.

How did you do the pastel colors? Those aren't natural, are they. Gorgeous shot.

A tweak of HDR and some Neatimaging did the trick.

I marvel at that very thing all the time my friend. The archs are beautiful as any house of God would be.

Always amazed me that builders that many years ago used to build these fabulous structures!....workers today, cannot do nothing without the aid of computers etc!...

Good entry for the current comp!...

I like the sense of size and symmetry. I like the way different sections of arches are different colours. I presume the lack of detail/texture is due to needed noise filtering? The soft effect is consistent over the whole image. Two things really interfere with the quality of the image for me, the uncorrected tilt and the over exposed stain glass window where all the lines lead the eye, both can be easily fixed to make this a total cracker of a shot.
