I was looking for pictures to hang on the wall when I came across this shot from 2006. With a little HDR and some filtered B&W I quite liked how the clouds and the ripples in the water came out in this B&W work. The colour version didn't have the same dramatic impact as with this version. And it doesn't look too bad on the wall either.

As Bob would say, 'that's wor lass and the nipper' on the dock.

I believe your choice is B/W John. It does add a mood that color doesn't. Reminds me of my youth. Television in B/W, Photos in B/W and Rules in B/W. It was a good time.

The Wor Lass and nipper seem to be enjoying the day.

Good post.

I like the b&w as well. I think it brings out textures and detail you cant see in color. A very well composed shot. I think it will look great on the wall.

Love the tones in this pal..

The B&W really pulls the details out of it!...

You have been on a role lately. This is another great capture.
Did you use the HDR technique on this shot?
