This is the reason why I like a window seat instead of an aisle seat on a plane.

I was coming back from Whitehorse, Yukon Territory and saw this view southwest along Tagish Lake(Windy Arm). I'm guessing that road is Highway 2 (Klondike Highway) near Conrad along the right hand side of the image, and the island is "Bove Island". The road links Whitehorse with Skagway in Alaska.

By the way, it was -37°C in Whitehorse on Tuesday, and I saw someone riding a mountain bike. I suppose it's what you get used to....

I like this birds-eye view of the lake and mountains. It isnīt every day we get to see a sight like this one. Very nice!
