It is difficult to make the photo of a steel structure attractive but you have managed that here very well with the clarity of the bridge and the composition showing the colourful surroundings. Nice image!

I remember when you told me about this bridge when I was posting the one that was being replaced.

It does remind me of it. Nice post and hopefully they won't get in the demolition mood with this one.

Perfect sky and shadows

Really cool capture Jim. Great angle in which you took this, it shows great detail and texture. Amazing colours, clarity and lighting with shadows. Cool shadow of the bridge on the far bank and the waters edge.

Thought at first sight that it was a bridge to nowhere Jimbob, but see now that the road is bending just over the bridge.
Agree with all the people who said that the clarity of this image is perfect but agree most of all with Raj as you've succeeded to make out of a dull steel subject a very interesting and fine composition. Well done my friend!

They're interesting structures aren't they, kind of the bare minimum to make a bridge and no pretention or decoration. Interesting shapes in them though and they are quite a feature in the landscape obviously. Nice work JimBob.
