I posted,(and deleted) a similar picture, but this time I used a little HDR and combined two skies. I overlaid another sky picture to the original, at a lower opacity. Just messing around with Photo Shop, trying to get a different look.

I do remember the image Jim, I think your experiment has worked out to make a beautiful image. Love the colors which are vivid and make for a great contrast. Of course the reflections are wonderful. I like what you have done here. =^..^= sandi ♪

You certainly got a different look JimBob. I'm not a big fan of replacement skies because it's so hard to get the scale right. I think the sky's a bit too big for the land here, but it's not over the top. I like the colour treatment, your greens are very good. I like the structural element of that tree too - actually I think it could feature more strongly in the composition - and the reflections are very nice too.

Sheesh ... "a little HDR", "combined two skies", "overlaid ... at a lower opacity". Don'tcha just hate a showoff, especially when you have no idea what he's talking about because you're just an idiot with his mouth open sitting in front of the screen ... enjoying his handi-work. Don't remember seeing the first post Jim, but take it from me ... this one will do nicely ... ya big showoff :o)

Mugz put it so well JimboB. You are so good at the manip as C said. I think a tutorial on Sir Shreks thread would be in order. Great rework.

This is eye-catching, which is what HDR is all about! I think this works because the trees are showing a little wind and the sky is saying "Take Cover"! I didn't notice the ducks until I got this to full screen...and they were an extra bonus.
I vote for a tutorial on everything you did with this pic!
