Jim, I find this to be a very pleasing image to look at. I love the colors in this one and you even got some reflections. Nicely laid out also. Kudos! =^..^= sandi ♪

You caught this 'dismal day' very well....

Is this a local pond for 'skinny-dippers' then?..
(Bathers without clothes!)

This gives a bit of an impact, and keeps the eye busy!...

It may have been a dismal day but that is one fantastic Estate type shot. I would frame this one up and present it to the owners of the farm as a gift. If I were them I would cherish it. It is that well done Jim. (Sign the corner of the matting too.)

Wow. It's sure is dismal. But that's what I love about it. All the colors seem slightly muted. Very cool.

Nice shot, Jim.

Jimbob,I agree with all above. Your dismal day translate into one terrific post. I also like the way the trees line up, sort of like a sindex, reporting their barks and leaves to the estate behind them.

Prefer a F² (Foofy Friday) above a D² (Dismal Day). The first one makes me glad, the second makes me sad in spite of your perfect captured post Jimbob.
Have a nice and sunny day my friend!

Nice shot JimboB and it looks great as everyone has said. I think just a little more contrast would make it more eye pleasing without ruining your dismal day theme. I imagine it is just a personal taste of mine. Good work.
