Wasn't Skybird a TV show back in the 50s? The gull looks really fine up there against that beautiful sky, Jimbob. Looks like the lamp is a regular rest area on the sky highway. Novel shot.

Great shot of the bird against a really good sky. This is a really difficult shot to pull off. I know I've tried it myself and failed many times.

A very interesting and usual type of clouds. Maybe he is checking out what the weather forecast is going to be...couldn't do worse then some of those weather guys. Skybird describes the picture to a tee

Nice clear closeup with the background sky

Methinks the gull has delusions of grandeur. He probably would have named it Sky King. Trouble is he isn't much of a songbird and Penny is long gone.
He looks great against that terrific sky JimboB. Good post.

Skybird is a good title for this Jimbob. He is urveying his surroundings. I like his pose - looks like he is deaf on the right year and is trying to listen with the left - LOL

Nice photo of the Seagull Jim! Around here they love the trash in the dumpsters. Got a pic of it once but lost it also. This time I'm backing up everything on the hard drive! Thank you! Allen

Jimbob, see that the lamp has gotten a double function. Not only to give light but to project you as well from heavenly droppings, lol.
Good post my friend with a wonderful sky.

Sorry for the delay, been in Las Vegas but I'm back now. Have so many to look at so don't know if I'll be able to catch up. May not comment on all of them.
