This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By.
Thanks For Sharing ! Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience
He looks abit lonely standing there, but I like the colour contrast of its white and brown coat against the back drop of pine. Well done a really lovely capture Jim. Ann
Well, Jimbob, what can I say? I'm always amazed at the clarity and detail of your wildlife photography. Even though our photographic equipment is nearly the same, I am yet to post a decent shot of a living organism. I was walking my dogs yesterday in the fog and spotted a salamander on the road. They are slow moving, cold blooded creatures; so I took three or four shots at nearly point blank range while lying on my stomach. When I got home I downloaded the shots and noted that the salamander shots were poorly focused. Operator error? Probably.
I doubt you took this from your balcony so I'll assume that you were hang-gliding and swooped down low enough to get this shot.
The colors are very clean and crisp in this photo and the off-center pony makes an interesting composition. The few highlights contributed by the sun add a certain magic as well. Beautiful capture.
