I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

Interesting history about the towers. Sounds like it was all about oil / fuel back then & still is to this day. Glad they are still standing to make their mark in history. Beautifully captured, Jim.

Nice view on to the towers. They could build a radar station there now Jimbob. Thanks for the link.

I've check-out your link and have read the article 'Delaware's Shoreline Towers Made Line in Sand Against Enemy Attack'. Very interesting history Jimbob. Have read Raj's suggestion as well. Think if there would be some requirements for radar observations there, building a new radar station could be even much cheaper.
Thanks for this interesting post my friend!

I've been to Delaware several times, and this image accurately gives the mood and feel of the Delaware coast. Very nice one.

Jimbob - Quite a history in the links you shared. The image, with the beach access paths and flora in the foreground, is well composed. Thad

Great beach shot JimBob. The sand fencing and beach grasses in the foreground make for a great shot of the towers.
