I have been through there, but it has been years JimboB. Nice to see their railroad system is still intact.
BW suits this classic view.

Very fine B&W image again Jimbob. This image exudes, even without the sound of of a passing steam engine, a nostalgic atmosphere.
In my imagination I can already hear its whistle blowing.
Perfect entry for the Wednesday B&W challenge. Well done, mate!

You've found some great old architecture in Marietta, JimBob. I like the angle You've chosen for shooting this and the sky is beautiful, even in the b&w format.

Great B/W contrasts Jimbob and I like your composition with the railway included. I hope you were not in danger on the tracks !

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Well, you caused my to go Google this: "Established in 1996, the Marietta Museum of History showcases and preserves the history of Marietta and Cobb County. The museum is located on the second floor of the historic Kennesaw House, and features collections from the military and Civil War as well as home life and local history."

I would love to be able to go in there!

There's a lot of great history in that area. I was going to move up that way at one point before life had other plans for me. Great shot in B/W!
