Rocky chillin' in his favorite tree. While he still isn't afraid of us , he is starting to spend more time with his friends . A little bittersweet but it is what is best for him.
Love how you captured him or her stretched out it looks so relaxed and the detail is lovey and sharp in this photo, plus love the light in this photography as well.Plus the colour in the squirrel coat seen to blend in with the tree that is amazing to see my good friend,
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
Think it's the best for Rocky that it's spending more time with friends Marsha.
We tend to compare nature with our human world and to treat animals like friends. But for the not domesticated animals it's better to let them go and to let them live their natural, often hard, life.

Could be that mating season is coming Marsha, perhaps there will be little ones in the future. He or she is sure cute, and I like the poise you captured of him or her. Tigs♥ =^..^=
Awww, he's so cute, Marsha, and while I am glad to hear he's making friends amongst his own I hope he'll keep in touch...I've grown fond of the little rascal...adorable expression and pose in this one.
