This is Rocket. He was on death row at a Baton Rouge animal shelter after being abandoned by his previous irresponsible heartless owners . He's one of the lucky ones. He was rescued by a neighbor and has a great home . He spends his days chasing squirrels , yes including Rocky and begging milk bones. He has Dan and I trained well, we don't mind , he's a great dog . Submit your art for the challenge.

The thing that goes the farthest, towards making life worthwhile, it costs the least and does the most, is just a pleasant smile.

I really hope that Rocket may chase squirrels for a very very long time. Not because of the squirrels but such a dog doesn't belong to be on death row because of irresponsible owners.

Good entry for the challenge Marsha!

Regards, Cornelius.

This capture looks so sad but the story brought joy to my heart to know that he was rescued and enjoys life now - how anyone can be cruel to an animal is beyond me.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
