No it's not just the name of another videogame: It's a rework of "Chatting over the pond" where 'Two fishermen were chatting over the pond of Thau during this sunny day in Bouzigues (Herault, France). I read ya'all and tried to respect the 3 thirds rule (not sure I made it) and rebalanced the horizon line. I am not that happy with the sky: it was shot in RAW format but I got those big hitches all around the sky. I dunno why. Full view is best. Thanks for your comments: I always enjoy them.

I'm not sure what you mean about the sky, It looks fine on my monitor. I think you did a wonderful job reworking this one. Kudos on a fine job. =^..^= sandi ♪

I prefer the all blue image above. I would only have cropped from the top to get the horizon at the right level and left a good deal of the lovely water in the image. It has more character than the sky in this shot anyway. Perhaps I'd have cropped a little from the left side too for balance. Someone once suggested that I hold a piece of paper or two up to the monitor and frame my image with them to determine if the proportion looked right.I guess you'll find all different opinions about what to have done.

I'll go along with what Cindy said, although I see a great improvement here... still love the sun sparks on the water. When I think of composition I always think of the word, 'balance'...

This is very classy Bruno, I like those silhouettes on the shining water and the long pier in the background. It creates a wonderful atmosphere, fishing in the moonlight in peace and tranquility.
