Apologies for my brief, late and sometimes non existant comments at present. Gremlins invaded my garden with their weed planting equipment while I was away and I face a mammoth job getting it back in order. As compensation I discovered this orchid blooming in a dark and damp corner. I hope some of you may enjoy it as I have.

A beautiful orchid Lyn and so well presented. Sorry you have gremlins but understand they do try to take over. This post has wonderful clarity and beautiful colors. Thanks for sharing it and good luck with 'them' ;)

And here I was believing Orchids needed indoor hothouse conditions to thrive. This is beautiful. We are happy with run of the mill flowers like Zinnias, Petunias Pansies etc. and here you are flaunting gorgeous Orchids that are kept in a "dark damp corner" ... shame on you for rubbing it in like that. LOL

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.
Stunning and well framed as well. What beautiful colors. We can't grow these outdoors around here, but I wish we could. They are such beautiful flowers and these are just great.

Stunning. I can just feel the softness of the petals because you captured them so sharly. I can see the fuzz on them. Beautiful colors. And the frame, now that color frame really compliments the picture. Everything is well done and carefully composed. nice work.
