The Parish Church of St Martin, Bladon, Oxfordshire. There has been a church on this site since the 11th or 12th Century. The present one was opened in 1804. The graveyard is now well known as the burial place of Sir Winston Churchill.

Oh my, Eve, the history there just astounds me! Though this is "only" from 1804, it's very fascinating! By chance, did you get a photo of Sir Winston Churchill's headstone? I'm so glad you shared this - thanks! - Patty

A lovely image Eve ... interesting history also. How they contructed some of these buildings back then, has always fascinated me. Very nicely presented.

What a lovely headstone and a beautiful stone church. It does appear to be quite old. I like the way you shot the image partially through the tree branch.
