Beautifully composed, Eve, and so colorful. Even the driver is smiling for you! Is that the Phoenix rising from the ashes symbol on top there? Well done! I'm enjoying your Hong Kong photos!!

The title fooled me ... this is anything but. They sure do go in for colors over there don't they? And you captured that color beautifully in this image. Nice skyline in the background.

Beautiful boat! The Chinese people love 'red', a sign of prosperity and I like it too. I have a friend who came from Hong Kong and she showed me her wedding photos and someone was holding a red umbrella over her head and when I asked what the red umbrella symbolized, she said that it was raining! My goof! With all that harbor traffic, I wonder if they use a company from Dubai for security. LOL

The water is a perfect "canvass" for the colorful boat. And I do mean colorful. It looks like a floating fractal:) Outstanding capture, LynEve.

Thats quite a boat. Leave it to the Chinese to come up with all that ornamental stuff. the captain appears as though he is having a ball. Lots to look at and study in this composition.

This is a very nice capture Eve. It reminds me of all the far away and exotic lands of the Orient. It has been my pleasure to visit some of them but that was before I had taken up photography. This image serves as a reminder of what I've missed.
The composition is very good and the colors are truly amazing.
Tell me from what vantage point was this image made? Were you too on one of these vessels?
Straight to my desktop for the day and because this came up in my voting booth a 10 for: the memories, the attention to detail, great composition and an object that immediately grabs and holds ones attention.

Lovely well-done shot. I love the contrast of the colorful traditional style boat with the modernistic highrises along the waterfront. Good composition.
