"Blue and green should never be seen, except when worn by a gypsy queen' is a rhyme I remember from childhood. I do not know the origins of it but I think blue and green is one of the nicest colour combinations. This is coastal farmland near where I live. Normally I would not like such a large expanse of cloudless sky but I thought it may work in this shot. A bit more sea would have been nice. . . . . .Kodak V550 . . .Thanks for taking a look and I welcome and appreciate comments of any kind :)

There is nothing wrong with a cobalt sky, especially when it’s portrayed so nicely as this one. I like the way you divided the photo with that beaut line of meandering trees.

There are three colours, Ten digits and seven notes, its what we do with them that’s important. Ruth Ross

The sky and land really contrast with each other so well. Beautiful color!

Comments of any kind? Ha! That's what I like to hear. But to my disappointment there's virtually nothing to criticise. This picture is almost perfect! I even measured the horizon and it's perfectly level. And it doesn't even curve down at the edges. Well, there's just one little thing. With the sky being completely empty, you could easily apply a nice thick gaussian blur effect to it to get rid of that last bit of grain. Do that and this will be the perfect replacement for the default WindowsXP wallpaper. :)

By the way, blue and green are kind of national colours here, so shots like this one are doubly more appreciated by me. :)

I wish I had that sky for my stock sky pile :) It's lovely and I'd have never thought to use a gaussian blur to rid a photo of grain...learning all the time :) The problem is I can't see much grain here anywhere :) I love the blue/green combination, and whoever started that nasty rumor about not wearing blue and green probably just wanted to keep the combination to himself..lol :)

not much to see at first sight here, but if you look closely there can be seen two cities in the distance and the clarity and colors are amazing :o)

This is a gorgous picture of a truly lovely spot. It should be a recruiting poster for prospective immigrants: "Come to live in New Zealand" LOL The only things missing are the sheep.

I think this is beautiful scene Eve. Blue and green do mix well here and great composition..another picture could have more expance of sea...looks like lush grassland, but intermixed with rocky soil...gerry

It's a lovely view. You are so fortunate to live this close to the sea. The colors are wonderful in your image.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
