These are the Kakanui Mountains which I see from my garden fence. Morning one was taken at 10am today and I marked the place on the fence where I rested the camera - went back just after 5pm for the second one.Used zoom so they are not such good quality. In between times I had to go to work :) Its is very cold tonight - I think there will be more snow on the peaks tomorrow.. Iwill take this down after a few days, I just wanted to show off 'my' snow :).Panasonic DMC-FZ7.. Thank you for taking a look.Any comments are most welcome and always appreciated.

I like the morning shot with the snow better. I suppose when you have one of your mega-colour sunsets the mountain will look grand also in twilight.

What a great way to show off the snow on your peaks. Now I'm wondering if this is all the snow you're going to see since you've decided, as you put it, to "show" it off...What a wonderful climate you have there!!!
