Lyn, your photos have really made me feel like I've made this Sunday drive with you! This one is full of depth and I love that evening sunlight. Thank you for all of these marvelous posts! ~Mary~
A friend of mine works in a camera store. The other day a very
confused looking woman approached the counter and handed my friend
a camera. She said "I took pictures, but I forgot to have film in
the camera. Can you please get them out of the camera for me?"
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to the Emerald City and OZ A very nice place to be. Trust me on this one, I live there. :-)................ MY GALLERY - THE LION****Another Site I'm AT - MY DA HOMEPAGE
this is a wonderful scene. the intensity of the colors is first class. i think the balance with the clouds on the right and trees on the left is right on. the road leads one right in.
Do they drive on the right side of the road in NZ too? (that is the left of course!) lol! Well done at capturing this through the car window - it is always worth a try when you see a view like this!

The long evening shadows across shadows across the road, the endless row of trees by the roadside - pity the sunday drive is coming close to an end. They have all been great - your sunday photos.
Another great picture from you. I am slowly working my way through your gallery and have not found a pic I don't like! Great photos, thanks for sharing them. Paul. :-)
The coloring, the dark shades, the blue sky's with overcast/clouds.. they all work perfectly together in this series, all of them are worth a place on a calander..
Makes me want to sing "On the Road Again"...you don't want to hear that. Nice pic again...it's still winter...good...that means it's still summer here.
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

You've a great eye for a shot, Eve. I am reminded of the Irish poem about the road rising up to greet you. I love the barren trees on the left, the whole row of them. Such a nicely composed and warm shot of autumn.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.
