Taken in the Dandenong Forest Reserve, Victoria, Australia with Panasonic DMC-FZ7. These birds can become very tame and will eat seeds from your hand.The species nests almost exclusively in tree hollows, and although still common, Crimson Rosellas are suffering from habitat loss. . .Thanks for viewing, comments welcome and always appreciated :)

What a beautiful bird, LynEve and his stunning red plumage stands out so well against the thorn-trees and sky. He sure is a big one... looks like he could easily swallow the HLM for breakfast! Great shot!
