I killed a black bear about 1/2 this ones size back in 1987. Wow, that's a long time ago!!

I wouldn't wanna tick this fella off so I won't mention that the whites are a wee harsh.

It looks like he is in a natural enviroment Lyn. I like zoo's that do that. You use of light and shadows is perfect. I will look forward to your return.

Wonderful shot Lyn. We have brown bears in the forest around my little village :) Sometimes they take a walk in the forest just around my house :))

It's an impressive beast Lyn, and that sad look on its face is priceless. The light on this and the gulls is a touch harsh, which reminds me that you're in mid summer over there. Hope to see you on deck very soon!
