"Hear the sea sing her lullaby to the sun !
Gold crested waves tell the day is near done.
Soon her beautiful blue will be black as the skies
As the sun slips away and another day dies."

Taken with Canon 450D. I love it when the sun catches the wave tops. Hope you may like it also :)

So so beautiful Lyn, both of the poems. The poem in your narrative and this photo like a poem. Wonderful work, my friend. The splash on the crest of the far waves lit by the low sunlights are amazing. Very well done.

Love your poem LE. It fits this shot like a glove. I like the dark scene with light filtering through on the waves. Beautiful post.

The sea can behave like a human being: she can be silent, whisper, sing a lullaby, but even roar, Lyn.

That's why I respect and admire her. A reason too why 'salty' images belong to my favorites. This one is no exception!

Regards, Cornelius.

Did you write that lovely poem? I like this hour for catching things in the light that might go unobserved in the daylight like these white caps. Pretty scene.
