Just sailing by with a reminder about the B & W Wednesday Fun Challenge
We have no new images at all this week so if you can help please pm me with your submission :)
These sails decorate the exterior of the library which is right on the beach front at New Brighton near Christchurch New Zealand. I took the shot to use as a manipulation base but I quite like the lines of it as it is. I have done a couple of manips with it though :)

It makes beautiful B/W image Lyn. Strong contrast with h background.

Smooth seas do not make skilful sailors.
The symmetry of lines is offset by the lighting angle, creating an interesting image.

Life is a Constant Audition
I love the title...it makes me hear the old Procol Harum song..A Whiter Shade Of Pale. (I have always loved that song.) This is a very striking shot and very artistic. I love the lighting. Excellent entry for the challenge, too.
