An impressive scene with that active sky, the b blue water and the shore well photographed here. All four layers look very good.

Those are the spots I love in Hawaii - where the locals go! Gorgeous image.

But Lyn, these local beaches are void of the trappings of paradise: the t-shirt stands, hats for sale, and children pulling on your arms for handouts! How do you have a good time if you are not spending a ton of money on things you do not want?

The character of the sky is such an important element to much of photography, sort of the fresh whipped cream atop a slice of apple pie. Too bad there had to be so many people in the shot, mucking up the beach. Despite their presence, you did a nice job capturing the scene.
