Middle Earth, of Lord Of The Rings. Lothlorien, home of The Lady Of The Forest.
In real life near Glenorchy on the road to Paradise at the top of Lake Wakatipu.
I have never read or watched Lord Of The Rings but I do love this area in all it's many moods.

Gosh I give this the wow factor for the dramatic feel, and the isolated feel really comes through. tigs=^..^=

I too have not read or watched the LOTR, LE. I really like the tones in this. The snow covered peaks seem to come alive.
Great work.

I prefer the reality near Glenorchy rather than the imagery one of Lord of the Rings, Lyn.
A good example that reality can be even finer than a fairy tale.

New Zealand is a gorgeous land overall, yet the south island is the most breathtaking, especially the southeastern area.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Emptiness is not nothingness. It is simply the opposite of full of it.
