(Limonium sinuatum) When I was a child dried statice was referred to as 'Everlasting Paper Flowers'. I honestly thought they were paper and was not enlightened to the fact they were actual real living plants until much later. We had some in our house that my mother used to periodically shake the dust out of ! Happy Friday everyone :)

Lyn, to me it's a well known flower. In my country it has commonly name 'sea lavender'. It's not only a beautiful flower but is often used in dried arrangements as well.
A wonderful Foofy Friday (F²) contribution, presented very well too.

I've seen statice used many times in arrangements but I've not seen it growing like this Lyn - just lovely.

Lovely little blue blooms. Are they a house plant or can they be planted outside? Just wondering!
