This is my big old Birch in the afternoon sun. About +2°C (35F) in the shadow and much warmer in the sun. You can see melted ice on the bark. I thought it would be a good desktop. Looks best in full screen. Hope you like it. Thanks to all who view and commentating. I really appreciate it.

Very unique Mariana. In thumbnail it looks like an aerial view of Normandy during the invasion. Great colors. I like it.

I love the bark on the white birches. This is lovely in the sun and it looks like all the shiny areas are from the extrusion of sap from the tree. Nice textures.

It does make a nice desktop Mariana - such warm colours offset by the ice, and natures own design - just lovely.

I love birch trees! My honey once wrote me a love letter on some birch bark so I did the same for him. Great textures and a great idea to use this as a desktop.
