Birch pollen spreader. At first I tried to make the birch tree bark more visible, but then decided otherwise. Taken tonight. One hour ago. At 00:44 hrs. The first warm night after White Easter. Forgive my not commenting, I simply must make the living by working my fingers to the bone - literally LOL. Two hours at night is all I can devote to the dog, oops, agent SAAB. SAM & SAAB

Yep, I know those, our yard has a huge birch tree and so does our neighbour. What a mess they make. Super capture and detail SAM.

Beautifully done. I've always wondered how you get those black backgrounds. Shooting with a flash at night is brilliant. But how do you focus in the dark?

I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.
We call these 'Hazel Catkins'!..they eventually grow into the fruit of Hazel nuts
But birch has them too...lovly jubbly of a shot...the warm nights are coming so we watch out for the Sneaky SAM the Snapper

Stunning detail and taking the shot at night give this photo a lovely effect by bring the catkins forward in this shot.Also beautiful colours and light effect and nice board work as well.
