hawthorn ... Sad as I was to see this fallen tree dying, I liked the colours in the light of my dog-walking flash-light and felt it deserved the last shot. SAM & SAAB

thats a great idea with a flash light..looks great! i have one of these trees with orange fruit that covers it, its a great subject to photograph.

We forget that golden brown (with, natch, red or yellow or blue undertones) is also part and parcel of "Autumn". The bright colors must go after a time, lest we become accustomed to them, yes?

Love how the leafs fold round as if they are holding on to the last days of autumn and the berries add a lovely feel to this capture as well.Very nice composition and great detail in this shot along with superb light and shade too.
