Besides being my first attempt at manually applied HDR, in Photoshop, this should be immediately recognizable to anyone who participates in the sport known as disc golf. As for anyone whose offspring cannot save themselves on the dance floor, but puts every ounce of energy they have into an activity like this, I am sure they may say "No, my kid is not ballet-adept, but they can sure throw a mean disc." And no, my eldest son, accompanied here by his slightly younger brother, is no ballet dancer, but that didn't stop me from titling this shot as I did. As for the HDR, I wanted to better show the beauty of South Dakota's Black Hills as seen near the north end of the region, just south of the city of Spearfish. You can just make out his disc in between the two very straight trees in front of my eldest (in red). Hope you approve of the effort and the humor in which it was intended.
'Nik', it's not up to me to approve your effort. However, it is much appreciated in addition to your humour.
Disc golf is an unknown sport to me. When I look at your 'action shot' (with a smile on my face), it looks like a discus throw. The discus, however, is no longer to be seen, 😁 .
Although a photograph is static, it does show dynamicticly the 'performance' of your eldest son very well. The contrasting color of his shirt is very helpful.
It's a very nice picture worth saving in the family photo book to look at from time to time. You than will realize that time passes by fast. So do use it very well. But I can already see the latter in this photograph.
