Fantastic Pat, the colours are amazing. Some folks that have never been there really should take a look at bayou country sometime........I think they'd be impressed. :) +fav

The colors, nice contrasts and dancing lights on the trees make it a valuable shot. Yuo feel like sitting in a boat so peacefully.

You know what I like more than the color in the cypress, is their grace. And they have such a solid beauty. That always comes through when you shoot them. A really fine image, Pat.

I agree Pat - there are some pretty neat colours in the tree, but what really struck me even in thumbnail was the glossy gold water - very beautiful!

I agree with Patti - the silky gold water like a delicate cloth or smoke or even cloud ...

The colors are great on those branches, I love those big old tree trunks as well. Great water reflections. Aim your shotgun at Jerry for the "old lady" remark.

All of the above and you can aim the shotgun at me for putting a damper on this lovefest. I think your timing is off by maby a week, meaning that with a bit more leaves it should have been a 10.
