I still say it looks like Gabby Hayes. I realized it had something in its beak. I thought that was obvious. Maybe you could get it a job in the circus Owd Momma. Have a good week.
Momma, your confession brought me in pshychical problems as I believed up till now every word spoken by you, lol.
The fact that you were able to fool us with your Bearded Pine Warbler made me smile.
Good capture of a shaved Bearded Pine Warbler Pat.
Regards, Cornelius.
I picked up on that nesting material but thought the name was right! Lol! Way to go Pat, I must say this is a fantastic shot. I think it's even better. =^..^= sandi ♪
You know Pat, when you posted the other one I went and goggled the bird and your so right there sure isn't any kind called that. This Pine Wabbler has makings of a nest in his beak. I really didn't want to say anthing on the other one.
Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

Well I was taken in by a bearded pine warbler - it sounds as likely as a tufted titmouse:)
I still have no idea what this bird is but I do think it is a great shot - I love the way he is balanced there with his feet clinging on.
Fine colour and clarity.
