You have me afraid to comment Owd Momma. I don't want to get on your bad side. Maybe I will come back later.

A nice colourful scene Pat. I like the old car and mail box in the yard. Is that some bluebells i see scattered around the yard? Posted and no trespassing sign, like they really need those. Great post

I like old stuff, and especially the vehicle sheltered a bit by the tarp. Nice find, and great shot once again.

They must have been someone special once, to have their own mail box in the yard! I also like the POSTED sign near the tree. Cool photo.

So far everyone say they like old stuff Owd Momma. That should please you. I am curious to see what else you found. When they have a mail drop box, there is no telling what else is scattered about. The FDR makes it look even older.

Nice post.

You asked for an honest critique... it's way too busy. There is no focal point. A lot of stuff, some of which could be isolated for a great view.

The comp is good as it makes the eye busy!....the HDR is a tad strong on this, but makes the clarity of the items more clear!...

But I'm not going in there cos it says 'No Trespassing' and I know what yer like with the Gun!!!!...

love all the old stuff!! its really neat, theres lots of things to look at, i agree with LedsLens that it needs a focal point, did you lean over the fence and take some of that stuff without the fence in the way??

Agree with you Momma. When all this old stuff could talk, we would hear very interesting and probably nostalgic stories, but we have only your image now, so our imagination has to do the work. Perhaps even better! lol.
Thanks for this fine post Pat.

I like the "Posted No Trespassing" signs, when it's so obvious that no one is going to come racing out of the old weathered house with a shotgun... appeals to my sense of irony. Then there's the feeling of wondering about who lived there, and what kind of successes and failures, tragedies and triumphs they went through. There's a lot of stories in this image.
