NOTICE: THIS IMAGE IS NOT TO BE POSTED ON ANY OTHER WEBSITE. A beautiful spoonbill of some kind. But where is his other leg? Not only that, I think he's lost some of his rear end too!

They pay the pinks spoonbills by the foot at the zoo Owd Momma. Sometimes their budget only allows one. A heckuva good post.

Comment unto one another as you would have them comment unto you. If you like comments, you need to comment some yourself.

Oh dear, it looks like he had a run-in with the business end of an alligator... nevertheless as long as his eyes are color-coordinated with his feathers, he remains a beauty with spoonbill sex appeal... hehehe. Lovely shot, Momma!

Perhaps a "Jigsaw Spoonbill"? He's still looking for the other pieces.

Nice shot of the spoonbill birds. He/she believes that you need two legs only when you want to walk. The rear end has been pulled in as a precaution against attacks from the rear!

Very good find, and so clear with good color. I thought maybe he had his leg tucked up, but what about the back-end?
