My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . Very nice, Pat! The spindly tree makes a great subject, and the composition is marvelous. I love how you've placed the horizon line at the mid-point, with the top half of the photo gray and the bottom half green. I also like your placement of the tree and the canal. Great post-work, as well!

That Mark 5 has to be pretty heavy to hold on its side like this. Vertical is a good choice for these spindly trees against the gray clouds though. But three shots must have called for a tripod. I hate my tripod and don't take it anywhere.
