Another capture from the Davis Mountain area in Texas which I understand much of which was burned to a crisp in recent brush fires.

A little over cooked to me Owd Momma but the textures are quite visible. Must be that Cajun seasoning.
I think a little less would give it the more natural look.

I think this one looks better in the smaller size, the larger size does seem to have an overcooked look to it.
It is a shame about the fires, but with that there is renewal.

It sure is a beautiful scene. I like that most of your images are never oversaturated as quite a few here tend to be.

Nicely composed..But I'm not a fan of the treatment you've given it...I think this would be nice if more natural..R.

Reading the (positive and constructive meant) comments above, like to conclude that making a perfect image to everyone is almost impossible as everyone is judging the image to his or her own taste.
To me it's a wonderful post with very good post work, Momma. Wish that all my images would have this quality.
Regards, Cornelius.

A picturesque diverse landscape. Has a painted wall hanging effect for me. I enjoy the details.

Another fine and creative image, Pat! The effect might not be to everyone's taste, but I like the color and contrast, and it's a well-crafted photo to begin with. Nicely done!
