Cool. I also like the "tapestry" of the silt and leaves to set off the fungus. Just personal preference, but I think I might've preferred a bit of trunk on the bottom, for a bit of framing.
Although it could be my moderately crappy monitor (Samsung), I think the contrast could be just a bit stronger to make the colors of the fungus pop a little. It's a cool shot though; reminds me of the geodes one finds in caves. You must have been looking downward for this one?

I like the framing, really makes what is a fairly dull subject in my etyes much more interesting. The lighting does appear a bit dull to me, basically agree with the comment above there.
I like this! One can Notice the greater focus on the Right side of the Image... if so Inclined. Color wise, It's vivid Enough, and the Blurred bottom Enhances the Subject nicely.
