I have studies with people all around the world via Skype and one young man in South Africa, hearing that the church had a booth at the city fair wanted to know if mid-western fairs were like they portrayed in the movies with cotton candy and the like. This was one of the pictures I sent him. My cellphone doesn't do a great job with low light, but this one turned out pretty good.

Looks good...We have a travelling fair comes every year in June..It's called the Hoppings and It's the biggest Travelling fair in Europe...R.

This is a cell phone shot? What, do you have an iPhone 12s or something? I have to work my toucas off with my DSLR to get something almost as good as this! The fair photos I usually see (including my own) are of intentionally blurred lines of lights, taken with long-shutter exposures. This however, is like a city skyline, so sharp under low-light conditions, it must be the result of countless exposures in the past. Experience is so critical to good photography. I do like all the bright color contrasts with the black, being able to pick out individual rides and attractions, and the many silhouettes of trees and machines against that beautifully gradiated sunset, but what tickles is those dangling legs at the high point of that ride. Outstanding.

If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
It was a Galaxy S4 cell phone and then edited in Lightroom. I cropped out the bottom that showed numerous cars in the parking lot, which is what gave the long format.
