Omaha is home to the world's largest indoor desert. I took of picture of these shrubs because I read so many times in the Bible how the Israelites used Acacia wood to build various furnishings. These are more shrubs and sources of planks, but it is nice to know what Acacia looks like.

Nicely captured, the light is lovely ! Acacia also known as mimosa and down here in New Zealand and Australia as Wattle. I have two in my garden - they are lovely but create havoc with hayfever when in flower.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

You must be speaking of the desert biome at the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, right? Although I live over a days drive away from the zoo, my wife and I have been there enough times to have favorites places, the Lied Jungle, Scott Aquarium, and the Desert Dome the big three. I know exactly where these bushes are located and your excellent capture takes me right back.
