That wooden structure is the Queen Bee pump house, that utilized a canal from the river out-of-frame to the right, with the original foundation of the Queen Bee Mill behind in the background. Finished in 1881, the seven-story mill was capable of processing 1,200 barrels of grain daily. This is a very fine series, Jeff; I am definitely enjoying it, thanks.
