Besides the obvious coloring, the backlighting and excellent DOF and bokeh all make the star stand out so well, Jeff. It*s always a thrill to find all environmental conditions come together in the viewfinder, and then reveal them to be the perfect storm conditions when you go to process them on the big screen. I knew that stars are found in most of the U.S., and I have photographed the rough version up here in the Dakotas, but this variety is new for me. Kudos!
