Of the submissions in your short river fog series, Jeff, I like this one the best. The fact that both shores are clear but the downstream (I'm assuming from the type of ripples and shadows I see here) area between them is kept mysterious, plus backlit by early morning sunrise, is enjoyable for me for the same reason that a foggy road is, even one that I'm familiar with. It provides a moderate sense of wonder, of what will appear as I pass through the fog, whether on a kayak or a car.
